About Me

Hey friends! My name is Nicole. I’m a married mama of 2 rough and tumble not-so-little little ones and a self described sewing fanatic.
Like many others, my crafting obsession began early. At the age of nine, I was gifted my first sewing machine and haven’t looked back since.
I’ve dabbled in many different types of crafts over the years, but quilting has stolen my heart (and most of my thoughts).
Our quilts at home are well used, some tattered and stained, but I can’t help but smile when I see our kiddos grab one to cuddle up with. Nothing fills me with more happiness than watching a quilt be loved.

My Story

2011

While perusing online trying to find new bedding for our room, I stumbled across a Pottery Barn quilt that I absolutely fell in love with. But the price tag was INSANE. In true crafter form, I thought to myself, “wait….I can probably make that!”

My mother-in-law patiently answered all my quilting questions (“What’s the cushy stuff in the middle called?? How do you put this edging on??”) and before I knew it I was off to the fabric store.

It took me several months to finish that first quilt, and it’s definitely not perfect, but it still sits at the foot of our bed today.

2019

After a few years, several dozen quilts, and a couple rough experiences with a long arm quilter, I wanted to have more control over my projects. After talking with my mother-in-law, we decided to take charge and invest in our own long arm machine.

Now

With lots of practice under my belt and learning the in’s of out’s of our hard-working machine, I decided to help other quilters put the finishing touches on their projects.

My love of quilting inspired me to begin Wylee’s Harvest Quilting & Goods. It is my greatest hope to help my fellow quilters finish their projects and LOVE what they’ve created-every time.
